PgDAC completely replaces the standard PostgreSQL connectivity solution and provides an effective alternative to the Borland Database Engine (BDE) and standard dbExpress driver to access PostgreSQL. It provides direct access to PostgreSQL without the need for a PostgreSQL client.

Local connection for PostgreSQL

PgDAC based database applications are easy to deploy and do not require the installation of other data provider layers (such as BDE or ODBC), which is why they can be faster than applications based on standard Delphi data connectivity solutions. PgDAC also provides support for the FireMonkey platform, which allows you to develop visually appealing high-performance desktop and mobile native applications.
