Differences in license types:
- Student version:The student license is applicable to students who currently purchase their own license. Universities, colleges, and schools should purchase academic licenses for their students. These licenses are heavily discounted to promote research, but our EULA does require anyone using this license type to indicate the HAL robot framework in any publication.
- Academic Edition:Academic licenses are available for academic organizations to purchase for their employees and students. 10+licenses have additional discounts. These licenses are heavily discounted to promote research, but our EULA does require anyone using this license type to indicate the HAL robot framework in any publication.
- Personal version:Personal licenses are applicable to individuals who wish to use our software in commercial or non commercial environments. They are not applicable to the company.
- Kickstart：The Kickstart license is applicable to companies with fewer than 10 employees who wish to use our software in commercial or R&D environments.
- Professional Edition:A professional license is applicable to companies that wish to use our software in a commercial or research and development environment.
