The editing function in the program allows you to customize the appearance of reports and graphics. Your final results may be distributed using a large number of file formats available for export.

Regression Wizard

• Use one of our 150 built-in fitting equations or user-defined fitting equations to solve nonlinear regression problems
• You can use various data formats to select raw data for regression from the worksheet, or you can choose from plots in the graph
• The default fitting library of the program contains models based on polynomials, rational functions, exponential growth and decay, sigmoid functions, ligand binding, waveform, logarithmic functions, probability distribution and density functions, piecewise linearity, etc
• The user-defined equation was created using the 'Edit Function' dialog box from the regression wizard and saved to our default fitting library. They can choose to save to any notebook file. Double clicking on the formula item in the notebook will launch the regression wizard
• Fitting model equations using transformation language encoding can include definitions of constants, weight variables, linear equality and inequality constraints, as well as other variables
• The initial parameter values required by the algorithm can be specified as constants or defined using the automatic parameter estimation function in the transformation language
• The fitting equation can contain up to 500 parameters and up to 50 independent variables
• Weighted regression supports the definition of weights as constants or functions of regression parameters for each observation. The weight function allows the user to apply a reliable process for parameter estimation to mitigate the impact of outlier. Examples are provided in the program's fitting library and installed sample files
• You can use these options to create multiple types of results displayed in regression reports or worksheets.
• You can create a graph of the best fit equation with raw data for a model with two or three independent variables. Confidence zones can be added
• Models can be created to solve other types of problems besides regular data fitting. Examples are included in the sample file, including global curve fitting, solving equations, quantile regression, and distribution fitting
